Almetek mounting accessories including fastening devices and adhesives have undergone our rigorous testing procedures to assure you they meet the toughest industry standards. As with any fastening device or method, be sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure the best possible results. Adhesives

Aluminum/Copper Nails

Square shanked, serrated nails (1 ¼" long x 1/8") with a 5/16" head diameter are designed for safety and sure grip - nails snap into 1/8" diameter holes in Almetek holders, eliminating the need to hold nails when mounting. Theft resistant. Will not work loose.

Dating Nails

Aluminum: 1/lb. DATIN6-NAILS-04 (year here)

Nail heads are dated to show installation date.

Drive Rivets

Material thickness grip range 0.140" to 0.171".
Aluminum DR-1

1/8" diameter with 0.250" head diameter for attaching Almetek aluminum E-Z Tag holders to sheet metal and aluminum poles. 

Blind Rivets

(1/8" diameter x 5/16" long
grip range 0.031" to 0.187") Aluminum BR-1

Drive Screws

¼" long #6 round head drive screws (type U) with 0.250" head diameter.

Heavy copper wire encased in polyethylene. Two strand. ¼" wide x 100' rolls. T-100

Foam Adhesives

Double-sided pressure sensitive tapes, weather resistant, flexible, high performance, high strength with excellent cold flex and sealing characteristics. 1/32" thick foam acrylic for flat clean metal surfaces. Black or white, ten-foot coils available in the following widths: 3/8", 1 5/8" 1 ¾" and 2 ½".
